The 2016 Annual Meeting of the Association will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at the Strathmore Mansion. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. The primary business to be conducted at the Annual Meeting will be the election of one (1) individual to the Community Board of Directors.

The Association’s documents provide that each lot (home) shall have one vote. Voting will be by ballot at the meeting or by proxy ballot. CMC will mail a list of declared candidates and the ballot with instructions to all unit owners by Monday, November 14, 2016.

We encourage all unit owners to attend the 2016 Annual Meeting to learn more about the community, to meet neighbors and to become involved in the governing of the Association. Your participation in this meeting is critical to achieve a quorum of the owners. If we do not have quorum, it will be necessary to reconvene the meeting at additional expense to the Association, at which time the members present in person or by proxy will be considered to constitute a quorum pursuant to section 5-206 of the Corporations and Associations Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland. All unit owners are urged to vote, either in person or by proxy.
